Health Visiting:
The Health Visitor provides a health and screening service for both young and elderly patients.
The child health clinic gives:
feeding and child care advice weight checks for babies checks on babies’ development hearing tests information on the supply of fluoride drops and tablets
Please note; this clinic is for well babies. If your baby is unwell, please make an appointment to see a Doctor, or discuss the matter with the Health Visitor.
It is not necessary to be registered with the Practice to attend this clinic.
The Health Visitor also provides counselling to give help and support to parents who are experiencing difficulty in coping with child care.
The Health Visitor takes an active part in Public Health activities in the promotion of good health and the prevention of ill health.
